Tempe Teacher


Ronald C. Burd grew up in Franklin New Jersey, the fluorescent mineral capital of the world.  He grew up with an extended family that was involved in the special needs community.  Ronald started working with special needs in the year 2000 at the age of 19.   In 2005, he received a Bachelor’s degree in fine arts from Parsons School of Design in New York City.  In 2013 Ronald received his Master’s degree in Special Education from New Jersey City University.  Prior to moving to Arizona, Ronald worked at a School that specialized in autism known as Celebrate the Children from 2009 to 2016 where he worked for one year as a paraprofessional and a teacher for five years.
